This year's ProWein fair put an exclamation point on 25 successful years of trade fair history at Messe Düsseldorf. Starting with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by German Minister for Agriculture Julia Klöckner, the three-day show (17–19 March) further solidified its position as the world's leading trade fair of its kind.
With ProWein 2019 Düsseldorf being less than a week away, I thought it is time to look through the database of over 500 events and stand activities that will take place at the fair. These are the events (held in English) that I’m interested in as a wine enthusiast. Hopefully I’ll get to attend some of them.
Today I want to show you which wines from the Wine Enthusiast Top 100 Wines of 2018 list will be present at ProWein 2019 in Düsseldorf. I found 35 wines on the list, so here they are.
This year’s ProWein in Düsseldorf (17-19 March 2019) will be the 25th edition, a real anniversary! Just like in 2018, I decided to identify which wine makers from Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2018 will be present at this year’s event.
18 to 20 March saw the international wine and spirit industries get together at ProWein in Düsseldorf. Over 6,870 exhibitors from 64 countries provided a unique global overview of the current wine and spirits ranges. Over 60,000 trade visitors made use of this platform to place orders and gather information.

With ProWein 2018 Düsseldorf less than 6 weeks away, I decided to take a look at the websites for some of the most popular wine producing regions in the world. This is a list of associations and marketing agencies that are responsible for promoting wine all around the world.
ProWein is the world’s leading trade fair for wine and spirits, the largest industry meeting for professionals from viticulture, production, trade and gastronomy. Over 6,500 exhibitors from more than 60 nations – more than ever before – were presented at ProWein in Düsseldorf from 19 to 21 March 2017.
