Project Overview
The previous adesso as a service GmbH website was a one-page React site. It worked as a basic corporate presence, but it was too limited for a growing managed services company operating in the DACH region.
The website had performance, accessibility, and SEO issues, even though organic traffic was not the company’s primary acquisition channel. For a corporate IT services website, SEO is still useful for clarity, discoverability, branded searches, service-related pages, recruiting content, and trust signals — especially when clients, applicants, and partners want to understand the company before getting in touch.
The one-page structure also made the website difficult to expand and manage. There was no efficient way to publish news and announcements, present the leadership team, create dedicated service pages, or maintain separate German and English content in a structured way.
I rebuilt the website as a custom WordPress platform using Tailwind CSS and Advanced Custom Fields Pro. The new website includes dedicated sections for services, company information, careers, news, leadership, and multilingual content in German and English.
Because adesso companies follow strict corporate brand guidelines, the website also had to respect predefined fonts, colors, graphics, and visual patterns. A key part of the project was aligning those brand requirements with accessibility best practices: clearer structure, readable layouts, better semantic HTML, keyboard-friendly components, and a consistent content hierarchy.
The project required several rounds of revisions and careful coordination with internal feedback, privacy requirements, and brand expectations. The result is a more scalable, structured, and maintainable website that better supports the company’s communication needs today and gives it room to grow over time.
