    Podere Le Ripi is a winery in Montalcino with a really good story, and good stories can help sell (expensive) wine. I will try to explain what makes this winery so special, so there will be more text than usual.

  • Premstätten near Graz, Austria

    On 8th of October 2016 we spent half a day in Premstätten, a small village South of Graz. Before 2016 this village had the name of Unterpremstätten.

  • Castel MIMI Winery, Bulboaca, Moldova

    Castel MIMI Winery is the largest (private) architectural restoration project in the history of Republic of Moldova. This historic estate was founded in 1893 by the last Governor of Bessarabia, Constantin Mimi.

    Venice is a city in northeastern Italy and the capital of the Veneto region. It is situated across a group of 117 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by bridges. Parts of Venice are renowned for the beauty of their settings, their architecture, and artwork. The lagoon and a part of the city are listed as a World Heritage Site.

  • Salzburg – Austria, Mozart’s Birthplace

    Salzburg (literally: “Salt Fortress”) is the fourth-largest city in Austria and the capital of the federal state of Salzburg. Salzburg was the birthplace of 18th-century composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In the mid‑20th century, the city was the setting for the musical play and film The Sound of Music.
