Bird Spotting with Canon EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS II

One of the amazing things that I love about my new lens is that it allows you to look at small things in a new light. For example some of the more common little birds (like the Siskin or the Great Tit), with their beautiful and detailed plumage, are so difficult to take a photo of. Fortunately the 400mm focal length sheds a new light on everything.

Here are some of the birds that I got to spot in less than an hour while walking with a baby stroller in a park: Eurasian Jay, House Sparrow, Great Tit (male and female).
