Moldavian Wine Tasting in Der Weinadvokat – Dortmund, Germany

At the end of May I went on a short trip to Dortmund, 8th largest city in Germany.
Before the trip I’ve scouted Google Maps for interesting wine bars in the area and I’ve discovered Der Weinadvokat.

I decided to bring 2 bottles of Moldavian wine for a casual tasting at Der Weinadvokat (without any prior notice), so I brought these 2:

  • Rară Neagră de Purcari 2014 by Purcari Winery
  • Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 by Vinăria Nobilă.

Carsten Jekubzik, the owner of the restaurant was very friendly and open to my idea for a tasting, so thank you Carsten :)
At the end of the article I have 2 photos of the oldest bottle in the cellar of Der Weinadvokat, a 1923 bottle of Массандра Мадера, a wine from Crimeea (Ukraine).
