With temperatures of -15C outside, I decided to browse some of the older photos from my travels in 2013. So I decided to share some pleasant memories from Verbania, a small city in Italy, where me and my wife spent just one day at the end of April (2013).

Verbania is a city and comune (commune) on the shore of Lake Maggiore, Piedmont, in northwest Italy, about 91 km (57 mi) north-west of Milan and about 40 km (25 mi) from Locarno in Switzerland.

We were lucky to get a room with a view over the lake (and the public parking lot), unfortunately I didn’t have a decent tripod to take some nightly long-exposure photos, but the distant lights look amazing in the night.
