Hagnau am Bodensee, Germany (October 2013)

“The jovial Hagnau” is how the writer Gustav Schwab described Hagnau in his legendary travel guide on Lake Constance. The fishing village and wineries of Hagnau are still today idyllically located on the shore of Lake Constance.

Vineyards, orchards and greenery are abundant in this picturesque town. More than 40 vineyards and five fisheries show that tradition and pleasure are at the heart of this community.

Lake Constance is international – three countries border the lake and it is truly a European inland lake. On the lake, there are no borders and hence, there is much to discover.
